About the Artist

Mr. W is a dynamic hand-illustrator specializing in architectural perspective drawing.  This artist brings mathematics, structure, and creativity together to form a defined art curriculum.  A recognized perspective specialist, the work is inspired by culture—its people, events, natural world, and the distinctive objects that define a destination.

Mr. W’s vibrant, textured layers have earned an Advertising Award and an appearance in the major exhibition National Geographic Passport to the World which traveled nationally. Trained at the Colorado Institute of Art and holding a master’s degree from the University of Arizona—including a formative semester in London, currently Mr. W works as a freelance and contract illustrator.  The art continues to fuse precision, culture and imagination into compelling visual stories.

In addition to commercial and cultural projects, Mr. W brings imaginative storytelling to the John Adventure book series as well as silly short phonics books for early readers.  The engaging iambic pentameter tales are supported by illustrations adding humor and fun that spark curiosity and wonder in young readers.
